The plastics market is now in a phase of strong changes, Nanotechnology begins to be an integral part of its solutions, as the basis of the need to respond and to anticipate this new cycle, SPIM will invest in the acquisition of machines and equipment to respond quickly and efficiently to these new opportunities, where Micro Precision and Nanotechnology will be the basis for developing our molds in the near future.
Through technologically advanced equipment that works in a computerized and increasingly automated and robotized way, we have been able to increase from the current level to the hundredth level for the micro and even for the nanometer.
Through the implementation of this project, SPIM will also be able to serve the market of precision decorative pieces, IMD (In Mold Decoration) technology, which will not only allow the plastic parts injected into these molds to have decorative micro-films simulating aluminum or wood, will still allow injecting plastic parts integrating films with integrated circuits that will replace the buttons on the control panels of automobiles and other equipment.
